She won the 11th Youth World archery Championship held in Ogden, USA in 2009, at an age of 15 years. She also won a gold medal in the same competition in the women’s team recurve event along with Dola Banerjee and Bombayala Devi.In the Delhi Commonwealth games 2010, Deepika won two gold medals, one in the individual event and other in the women’s team recurve event. For this she was recently honoured with ‘the Outstanding Performance at CWG (Female) award’ at Sahara Sports Awards 2010.

CHENNAI: Deepika Kumari ruled superior with seven awards, while expert Dola Banerjee noticeable her come returning to type choosing six awards in the 33rd Sahara Mature Nationwide competition that determined at the Ould - School floor on Thursday.

JAMSHEDPUR: In a strike to the nation's archery leads later on Oriental Huge Corrt, top rated lady archer Deepika Kumari has made the decision to miss the occasion due to her continuous advanced examinations.

"Deepika will not be a aspect of Native indian archery females group for the Oriental Huge Corrt competition planned to he organised in Bangkok from Apr 9 due to her last advanced evaluation responsibilities," Deepika's trainer at Tata Archery Academia (TAA), Purnima Mahto said on Sunday.

Purnima, a former Oriental silver medalist, said Deepika was in no feelings to miss her examinations now as she had done it twice in the last already.

Deepika, who lead the lately determined Mature Nationwide Position Archery competition in Hyderabad, came back from Hyderabad to appear in the evaluation, which will proceed until Apr 14 at her area Ranchi.

The primary trainer of TAA, Dharmendra Tiwari, who was also a trainer at the continuous national camping in Pune, said Deepika was permitted to appear in the evaluation as there was no other significant competition in the long run.

Tiwari said the Huge Corrt will be organised from Apr 9 to 15.

Sources in the Archery Organization here said the second of the four Nationwide Position Archery competition sequence is likely to be organised in Jamshedpur in the first weeks time of Apr.

BOKARO: The two young people, who grabbed the bow and pointer only a season ago, are developing ripples at the condition and the nationwide stages.

Mahender Karmali and Karan Kumar Karamkar, the two young people from Kasmar town and both kids of farm owners, have gained a name for themselves as archers. While Karmali has been chosen for the 35th National Archery Tournament to be organised in Hyderabad from Feb 14-21, Karamkar packaged gold honor at the All Native indian Inter-University Archery competitors organised in Amritsar lately.

However, the young archers thank Bokaro Steel's business public liability program that offered them the opportunity to be qualified under Jharkhand's Archery trainer for ladies Anjela Singh. "The CSR division not only identified us but offered coaching and archery packages totally without any charge," It is because of BSL that we discovered the archery abilities and got this place," said Karmkar.

Both the archers have conducted well in the Jharkhand State Archery competitors lately structured by BSL. Karmali had also packaged brown honor in the 30-m Native indian circular at the condition stage competitors. It was his first contribution in any such competitors.

Angela Singh still recalls the day when the duo had came from the towns for playing the non-urban archery competitors last season in Jan absolutely unaware of the experience. Karamkar and Karmali are excellent lovers of Deepika Kumari and Jayant Talukdar, the well known archers from the condition. Karamkar said the street to achievements has not been possible for them.
